✨ Three or four years ago, I set off on a road trip to Queensland 🌴 for what I hoped would be an epic holiday adventure! But suddenly, boom—our van hit a pothole, and I went flying forward in my wheelchair 😱💥. I couldn’t catch my breath for a good ten minutes, and pain zapped right into my back. Still, I put on my brave face and made it to my destination like a champ 💪🦸‍♂️.
By the time I got to the Sydney airport ✈️, my back was so sore I could barely move! But even with all that, I still managed to squeeze some fun out of my Queensland trip. When I finally got home, I crossed my fingers the pain would fade, but nope—so off to the hospital I went 🏥. Turns out, surprise! I’d actually broken my back 😬🦴.
So, fun fact: I did my entire QLD holiday with a broken back! Not exactly the trip I wanted, but hey, I made it through! I had no clue about my injury until after the adventure was over 🤷‍♀️.
